In this episode of our podcast “Sintetik”, we had the pleasure of speaking with Egzona Shala, an environmental activist and the director of the EcoZ organization. We discussed the crucial role that environmental organizations play in influencing policy-making and driving practical changes through advocacy against environmental destruction and illegal construction projects, which have had a significantly negative impact on Kosovo’s natural landscape.

Another key topic was the programs implemented by EcoZ, including the initiative “Environmental Sustainability with Children”. We explored how this specific program has contributed to raising awareness among children about sustainable practices in their daily lives. In the final question, as part of our campaign “How ‘Plastic’ Are Our Rights?”, Egzona reflected on how environmental issues directly affect our human rights.
