ABOUT US
DYVÓ is Kosovo’s first sustainable design platform, dedicated to transforming environmental challenges into creative opportunities. We specialize in eco-friendly product design, education, and advocacy, with a mission to promote circular economy practices and empower communities to rethink their approach to waste.
At the heart of DYVÓ is DYVÓLAB, a Creative Common Space and the first officially recognized FabLab in Kosovo. As part of the global FabLab network, DYVÓLAB provides open access to digital fabrication tools, prototyping technologies, and a collaborative environment where anyone can turn ideas into impact. This milestone positions us as a national reference point for innovation, sustainable design, and community-driven problem-solving. Through hands-on workshops, design marathons, research, and multimedia storytelling, we connect people, especially youth, with the tools, skills, and support they need to design a sustainable future.
Rooted in creativity, community, and environmental justice, DYVÓ is a movement for change.
At DYVÓ we have established a robust internal framework for effective service delivery and fostering sustainability through community-led interventions. To achieve these objectives, we have formulated three overarching programmatic themes that will guide our operations during the 2022-2027 period.
The three main programmatic pillars of our work are:
1.CREATIVE COMMON SPACE & FABLAB
pillar aims to foster a collaborative, multicultural, and multidisciplinary environment for stakeholders, academia, and industry professionals to address real-world environmental challenges. It includes an open research laboratory for design, research, fabrication, testing and product prototyping.
2.CREATIVE ACTIVISM
pillar aims to equip youth with the skills to design and implement environmentally sustainable initiatives and products. The program enhances the capacity of young people to create solutions that improve local communities, support the circular economy, and increase civic engagement.
3.SYSTEM-CHANGE
pillar aims to create knowledge that focuses on policy and reforms required to combat pollution and plastic waste. The program seeks to provide policymakers, local communities and enterprises with know-how to integrate environmentally friendly policies and practices into their operations.

knowledge. Every act that contributes to the well-being is significant.

Despite the global environmental and climate emergency
being present for almost a century, insufficient action has been taken. The
future is determined by what we do today, and today is tomorrow's yesterday. We
